Three Mark Allen Group brands have been shortlisted for awards this week, Community Care for B2B Editorial Team of the Year at the AOP Awards, Farmers Weekly for Best B2B podcast at the Publisher Podcast Awards and the SEND Network team for the Community Engagement Award at the PPA Awards.
The Community Care editorial team have been selected as finalists in the B2B editorial team of the year category at the AOP Association of Online Publishers awards. The nomination is a recognition of the brilliant work the team have done over the past year and beyond to reach our time-poor audience of social workers in innovative ways, including a live webinar programme, three podcast series, infographics, newsletter courses and short-form video content. The team also delivered a content-led campaign, Choose Social Work, aimed at inspiring the next generation of social workers and championing the sector at a difficult time for the profession. Winners to be announced at the AOP Awards Celebration Dinner on Wednesday 12th June.
The Farmers Weekly Podcast, shortlisted for Best B2B podcast at the Publisher Podcast Awards, discusses the top news affecting UK agriculture. Podcast and projects editor Johann Tasker and Scottish farmer Sandy Kirkpatrick delve behind the headlines – with comment, analysis and discussion from farmers and industry leaders. The winners will be revealed in an in-person celebration also on Wednesday 12th June in London, following the Publisher Podcast and Newsletter Summits.
The introduction of the Community Engagement Award at the PPA Professional Publishers Association Awards is a category specifically designed to honour brands that are driving deeper audience engagement through online communities. The SEND Network team submitted their entry to showcase the remarkable growth and impact of their community for special educational needs professionals. The community has not only expanded understanding and insight into the education sector but has also fostered knowledge exchange and valuable connections among professionals dedicated to supporting children and young people across the UK. The team takes immense pride in their project's daily positive impact on this vital audience. The winners will be announced on 26 June at City Central at the HAC.
