The challenges presented in the last year by the pandemic have been immense, not only for our staff but also for those who work in the sectors to which our brands are dedicated. Now more than ever, it is important we all take a moment to look back at the last 12 months and to celebrate achievement and success.
For decades, our team has been putting together professional and inspirational awards at prestigious locations around the country. Moving to a digital, broadcast format required our team to learn new skills, work with new technologies, the cooperation, and buy-in of our industry partners, and some serious determination.
Whether it was standing in the driving rain filming the Farmers Weekly Awards, providing a local hero in Wiltshire with video recording technical support, or securing music performances from some of the classical music world's biggest stars, our team rose to the challenge time and again.
The new format allowed our awards to be seen by more people than ever before, giving all the winners the recognition of their peers, fans, and loved ones that they so richly deserve.
